You are so much more than your hormones. Menopause is so much bigger than periods stopping.
If the cultural conversation around menopause has left you wanting something wiser and more coherent, come to this casual group event that explores the many aspects of the menopause experience. Led by midwife and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner Christina Cameli, together we explore both the biological changes of menopause and the meaning we make of them.
Sink into wise-woman, body-honoring wisdom that acknowledges the potential and power of menopause while also discussing effective solutions to problems that arise. Whatever you’re eager to hear more about, we’ll address it: brain, libido, hormones, and the changes you might notice on this personal, ancient journey. There is no “right” way to menopause, so in true midwife fashion, you’ll hear about a wide variety of options in the world of menopause care - from herbs to hormones and everything in between. All questions are welcome.
Our talk also introduces the archetypes of the queen and the crone, representing sovereignty and intuition, as sources of strength and guidance as we grow into the new, mature version of ourselves.
Details: Saturday, January 16th, at 10:30am, at 3001 SE Belmont Street, Portland Oregon. Event ends at 1pm.
Please note: This session is ONLY for women and those who can personally experience menopause. If that doesn't describe you, please look out for upcoming sessions for friends, partners and family - that's the one where you can get your questions answered.
